This quick and easy recipe is the perfect one-pan dinner that’s crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with savory flavors. Made with potatoes, sausage, and simple seasonings, it’s a satisfying meal that you can whip up in no time using your air fryer.
Ingredients (Serves 4)
- 4 medium potatoes (Russet or Yukon Gold), cut into bite-sized cubes
- 4 links of sausage (Italian, bratwurst, or your favorite variety), cut into slices
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prep the ingredients: Wash and scrub the potatoes. Cut them into cubes, leaving the skin on for extra texture. Slice the sausage into 1-inch pieces.
- Season the potatoes and sausage: In a large bowl, toss the potato cubes and sausage slices with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and pepper until everything is well coated.
- Preheat the air fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Cook in the air fryer: Place the potatoes and sausage into the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure not to overcrowd the basket. Cook for 18-22 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking. The potatoes should be golden and crispy, and the sausage should be browned.
- Serve: Once cooked, remove from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley for added color and flavor. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or a side salad.
Tips
- You can add bell peppers or onions to the mix for extra flavor and a colorful twist.
- For a spicier dish, use spicy sausage or sprinkle in some cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes.
- Make sure to cut the potatoes into uniform sizes for even cooking.
