Ingredients
Cake:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1–2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Make the Cake Batter:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with sour cream, until just combined.
- Assemble the Cake:
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared baking dish. Spoon the apple pie filling over the batter, spreading it out evenly.
- Prepare the Crumb Topping:
- In a small bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Stir in melted butter until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over the apple pie filling.
- Bake:
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Add the Glaze (Optional):
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to create a drizzle consistency. Once the cake has cooled slightly, drizzle the glaze over the top.
