Ingredients:
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 8 oz (1 block) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Bottom Layer: Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and press it into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, pinching the seams together to form an even layer.
- Make the Cheesecake Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer in the baking dish.
- Add the Top Layer: Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and carefully place it over the cheesecake layer, pinching the seams together.
- Brush and Sprinkle: Brush the top layer with melted butter. In a small bowl, mix the remaining 1/4 cup sugar with the ground cinnamon. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the top.
- Bake: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the filling is set.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the crescent rolls to cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature for the best flavor.
