Ingredients:
- 1 can (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or your preferred cheese)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning (if using). Stir to combine.
- Roll Out the Crescent Dough: Unroll the crescent dough onto a flat surface. Separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
- Add Cheese: Place a generous spoonful of mozzarella cheese on the wide end of each triangle.
- Roll Up the Dough: Roll the crescent dough up around the cheese, starting from the wide end and working towards the point. Be sure the cheese stays inside!
- Brush with Garlic Butter: Place the rolled-up crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush each roll with the garlic butter mixture.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Add Parmesan: Remove from the oven and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese for extra flavor. Optionally, garnish with chopped parsley.
- Serve: Let the rolls cool for a couple of minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
