Oreo Dirt Cake

This no-bake Oreo Dirt Cake is a creamy and crunchy dessert that’s perfect for any occasion! With layers of crushed Oreos and a smooth pudding-cream cheese filling, it’s sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike.


Ingredients

For the Layers

  • 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 packages (3.4 oz each) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups cold milk
  • 12 oz whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed
  • Gummy worms or chocolate sprinkles (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Oreos

  1. Crush the Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and smashing them with a rolling pin. Set aside.

Step 2: Make the Cream Cheese Mixture

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, butter, and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Prepare the Pudding

  1. In another large bowl, whisk together the instant pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until evenly combined.

Step 4: Combine the Fillings

  1. Gently fold the cream cheese mixture into the pudding mixture until smooth and fully combined.

Step 5: Assemble the Dirt Cake

  1. In a 9×13-inch pan or a trifle dish, spread a layer of crushed Oreos to cover the bottom.
  2. Add half of the pudding-cream cheese mixture and spread it evenly.
  3. Add another layer of crushed Oreos, followed by the remaining pudding mixture.
  4. Finish with a final layer of crushed Oreos on top.

Step 6: Chill and Serve

  1. Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to set.
  2. Garnish with gummy worms, chocolate sprinkles, or additional crushed Oreos if desired.
  3. Serve chilled and enjoy!
