Ingredients

¾ Cup Almond Flour (90g)
1 Cup Powdered Sugar (125g)
2 Egg Whites
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ Cup White Sugar (50g)
1 teaspoon Strawberry Essence
1-2 Drops Gel Food Coloring

For the Vanilla Buttercream:

1 Stick Butter (113g)
1 ½ Cups Powdered Sugar (190g)
1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
1 tablespoon Milk

Instructions

Prepare the Macaron Batter: Pulse almond flour and powdered sugar in a food processor until well combined. Set aside. Whip egg whites with salt until foamy. Gradually add sugar and continue whipping until stiff peaks form. Add strawberry essence and food coloring. Fold the egg whites into the dry ingredients, making a smooth batter that forms a figure 8.
