The 3-Ingredient Cookie

These 3-Ingredient Cookies are perfect for when you’re short on time but want something sweet and satisfying! With just peanut butter, sugar, and an egg, you can whip up a batch of soft, chewy cookies in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup peanut butter (creamy or chunky)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
  2. Mix the Dough:
    • In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, and the egg. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
  3. Form the Cookies:
    • Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart. Flatten each ball slightly with a fork, creating a crisscross pattern.
  4. Bake:
    • Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are set. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For a fun twist, add chocolate chips or sprinkle sea salt on top before baking.
  • Use almond butter or sunflower seed butter as a substitute for peanut butter to accommodate allergies.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or freeze for up to 3 months.
