- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup marinara or pizza sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for spice)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sliced pepperoni or sausage crumbles
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

- Bake: Place the pie in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Cool and Serve: Let the pie cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley if desired. Serve warm with a side salad or garlic bread for a complete meal.
